• We do not offer a proofreading service, since our goal is to help you learn how to become a better writer. If you would like to have your paper proofread, a list of proofreaders is available at the Reference Department of Roberts Library.
• Please bring a printed-out copy of the work you have done on your paper so far. It is easier for us to work from a printed copy than from a computer screen.
• If you need to cancel an appointment, please cancel it 24 hours in advance so that others will be able to use that time. You can cancel it by double-clicking on your appointment time and then clicking the ÒcancelÓ button.
• If you miss two appointments without canceling them, you will not be able to visit the Writing Center again for a month.
• So that everyone may have the opportunity to make an appointment, we allow students to make only one appointment each week. After you have attended an appointment, if you find that you need more help with the assignment, you may make another appointment in the same week if one is available by talking with Helen Dent (817- 923-1921 ext. 7110, RL 116).
